BetterYGG - Chrome Add-on for Torrent Downloads on YGG
BetterYGG is a Chrome add-on developed by vermillion-dev that allows users to download torrents from YGG without the need to be authenticated. With this extension, users can simply go to the extension's options and enter their Ygg token, which can be found in the "My Account" tab on the YGG website.
One of the key features of BetterYGG is the addition of a form that can be submitted on a Discord channel. Users can add the webhook of the desired channel and their desired username in the options. The submitted message format includes the title, season number, episode number, torrent ID, quality, and category name. The categories and associated URLs can be customized in the options.
Version 1.0 of BetterYGG includes minor adjustments such as removing the YouTube video on the home screen, automatically closing the left section bar based on screen size, and removing the donation notification. Version 1.1 introduces a download button in search results and sorts the search by date by default. In version 1.2, users can customize the sorting and order of searches in the options, and the issue with sorting by comment count has been fixed.
